GR Fresh Shares Sneak Peek of Viva Fresh Showcase; Tony Incaviglia Details
MCALLEN, TX - Another exciting industry event is on the horizon, and you know we can’t help but seek some exclusive previews from a few of our fresh produce friends. As we gear up for Viva Fresh on March 30–April 1, I had a chance to talk to Tony Incaviglia, GR Fresh’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, for a quick sneak peek.
“Viva Fresh is all about Texas hospitality and the relationships you are able to build in such a produce-rich region,” Tony shares with me ahead of the anticipated industry event. “Whether it’s the local growing regions of Texas or simply the Tex-Mex corridor that is ultimately a draw for retail and foodservice operators to fulfill their supply needs. The show allows for an opportunity to visit with all those attending in a relaxed, stress-free environment. TIPA has done a great job of not falling into the temptation of financial gain and has controlled the event size and kept the venue, by definition, a true Regional Expo.”
As Tony highlights, the Viva Fresh event is small enough to provide an ideal epicenter for industry connection and exploration, while big enough to attract retail and foodservice buyers to a crucial destination for both Texas and Mexican-grown produce.
GR Fresh will be taking to the event to showcase its robust product line—which includes tomatoes, avocados, bell peppers, eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash, and other popular items—as well as some key operational developments.
“Our new warehouse has reached its two-year milestone, demonstrating to the industry our consolidation efforts,” notes Tony. “We will also be turning attention to our repack facility for custom packing, as well as the growth of our transportation departments, and the opportunities these advancements deliver for our retail and foodservice partners.”
Attendees interested in seeing all this supplier has to offer should make sure to stop by booth #630 during the show!
