Honeybear’s Pazazz Apple Now Featured in 300 Retailers Nationwide
ELGIN, MN – Honeybear Brands’ proprietary Pazazz apple is now being featured in more retailers than ever before.
This all-new winter variety is currently popping up in more than 300 stores across the country with demos available in several geographical markets. Grown in Minnesota, Washington State, New York State, and Nova Scotia, Canada, Honeybear says that it plans to expand production of this unique apple for national availability by next year.
“Every year our young orchards get another summer of growth which promotes increased yields of this great variety,” Don Roper, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said in a press release. “The increased supply provides an opportunity to expand our retail partner base and broaden consumer distribution for Pazazz into more markets.”
Roper went on to say that with the quality Honeybear has seen so far for the fall season and the runaway retail success across the United States and Canada last year, he is highly optimistic that the Pazazz brand has an opportunity to become a truly national brand.
Retailers stocking, sampling, and selling Pazazz in January and February now include markets in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Ontario, Canada.
Pazazz is a descendant of the Honeycrisp apple, offering a unique blend of sweet and tart flavors, as well as exceptional crispness and texture. The variety was developed to offer retailers a premium variety to drive sales beyond the fall peak season.
Over the past 30 years, Honeybear’s expertise in varietal development has helped the company fine tune a variety’s flavor profile so that it fulfills consumers’ taste preferences. Look forward to seeing more from this unique apple in the near future.
