Lipman Family Farms Highlights Fresh-Cut Produce at Foodservice Conference; Darren Micelle Shares
IMMOKALEE, FL - Does it make the cut? If by “it” you mean Lipman Family Farms’ fresh products, then yes, it certainly does. I mean that both figuratively and literally in this case, because the supplier is showing off its fresh-cut lineup. At the International Fresh Produce Association Foodservice Conference this week, Lipman will have its diced tomatoes, sliced tomatoes, halved grape tomatoes, pico de gallo, fajita sliced peppers, and diced onions on display.
“We believe in simplifying operations for our valued partners, and our fresh-cut produce offers the perfect solution,” explained Darren Micelle, President. “With rising labor costs and stringent food safety standards, restaurant operators can rely on Lipman to provide safe, fresh-cut products that consistently deliver a superior consumer experience.”
Lipman’s fresh-cut line was developed to optimize foodservice partners’ efficiency, a press release explained. The innovative line minimizes the need for additional handling, ensuring rigorous quality control and more ready-to-use product in the back of the house. The fresh-cut line delivers guaranteed 100 percent usable product, eliminating food waste.
The supplier’s 75th anniversary calls for a champagne toast at the booth as well.
“We look forward to celebrating such a milestone with industry friends as we continue to recognize the longstanding partnerships across our industry,” said Micelle. “It is our talented foodservice partners who elevate our products to new culinary heights, and we’re excited to celebrate with them in Monterey.”
Lipman Family Farms can be found at booth #605 during the Foodservice Conference. We just might see you there!
