Misionero Appoints Hana Mohsin as East Coast National Sales Manager and Unveils New Packaged Salad Kits; Joe Merenda and Nicole Zapata Comment
GONZALES, CA - Two major reveals from Misionero came down the pipeline in the past week. First, the supplier has announced the promotion of Hana Mohsin from Marketing Specialist to East Coast National Sales Manager. In addition, Misionero revealed that it will be showcasing two new packaged salad kits at the International Fresh Produce Association’s (IFPA) Global Produce & Floral Show.
“After spending the last two years on Misionero’s marketing team elevating our brand, company values, and innovative products, I’m looking forward to bringing my knowledge and expertise to the sales team,” said Mohsin upon her promotion. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue growing with a company that truly values its people.”
In this new role, Mohsin will be responsible for supporting and growing Misionero’s retail and foodservice business in the Eastern region of the United States and Canada.
She entered the fresh produce industry in 2015, previously working as a Retail Specialist at Fresh Express and Multi-Unit Account Associate at Markon before transitioning to Misionero in 2020, according to a press release. While at Misionero, she has supported the company’s overall strategic marketing and sustainability activities.
“We’re thrilled to see Hana take on this new role at Misionero,” said Joe Merenda, President. “Her marketing and customer service experience in the fresh produce industry will make her an integral part of our sales and marketing team as we continue to grow and build toward the future.”
In addition to this news, Misionero announced that it would be showcasing two new salad kits at the Global Produce & Floral Show: the Buttery Simple Salad kit and the Miso Caesar Simple Salad kit. Both will be available for purchase in 2023.
“We’ve been working on these packaged salad kits for quite some time and are thrilled to roll them out at the IFPA Global Show,” said Nicole Zapata, Marketing Director. “We believe consumers shouldn’t have to give up restaurant-style foods when they choose to eat at home. With this thought in mind, we developed two high-quality, restaurant-level salad kits to be served as a delicious side dish or topped with a protein for a complete meal.”
