Publix Recognized as One of Forbes’ 2023 Best-in-State Employers; Maria Brous Comments
LAKELAND, FL - Three cheers for a fifth consecutive recognition! Publix has once again landed on Forbes’ Best-in-State Employers list, being granted this prestigious honor for the fifth year in a row.
“For more than 90 years, we’ve cultivated a culture of valuing our associates and the contributions they make to our company and the communities we serve,” said Publix’s Director of Communications Maria Brous. “We’re proud of how they continue to embody and perpetuate that culture every day to make Publix a great place to work. It’s an honor to be recognized by our associates and other respondents as a best-in-state employer.”
This year, Publix ranked No. 12 in Alabama, No. 16 in Florida, No. 12 in Georgia, No. 30 in North Carolina, No. 4 in South Carolina, and No. 13 in Tennessee. As a press release explained, ranking on Forbes’ Best-in-State Employers list is determined by an independent survey of more than 70,000 United States employees working for businesses with at least 500 employees; the survey includes questions about working conditions, salary, potential for growth, and diversity. In addition, employees were asked how likely they’d be to recommend their employer to others.
