PHOENIX, AZ - New beginnings abounded in January as industry leaders made significant moves to their teams. Sprouts Farmers Market shifted its leadership team, promoting from within and finding its newest National Director of Fruit in Daniel Spivey.

“Sprouts is a great company that truly lives up to its mission to inspire, educate, and empower every person to eat healthier and live a better life. I joined Sprouts in part because of that mission when we had less than 200 stores, and it has been truly exciting to be a part of the growth to now over 400 stores,” Spivey shared with ANUK in an exclusive statement.

He brings with him a host of experience that will benefit the Sprouts team in numerous ways.

“My experience in operations, sourcing, category management, and various leadership positions has given me a great understanding of how Sprouts needs to show up for our customers, and I am honored to step into this role as National Director of Fruit at Sprouts and help lead the team into the future while staying true to our mission.”

He previously served as Senior Category Manager for Avocados, Stonefruit, and Citrus. In this new role, he will report to Sonya Constable, Vice President of Produce.

Working underneath him will be Jason Glunt, Senior Sourcing Manager for Berries; Erin Tice, Senior Category Manager for Cherries, Bananas, Apples, and Pears; and David Dudley, Senior Category Manager for Grapes, Melon, and Tropical.
