SuperValu Promotes Rob Woseth to CFO



MINNEAPOLIS, MN – After joining SuperValu’s executive team in 2013 and helping execute initiatives that have resulted in over $200 million in annual cost reductions, Rob Woseth, the current EVP, Chief Strategy Officer and Interim CFO, has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective February 25, 2018. Woseth’s promotion follows the company’s financial release that recorded sales at $3.3 billion—a sales milestone for the brand. With expansion in mind for 2018, Woseth will now oversee SuperValu’s $49 million investment plan.

Rob Woseth, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, SuperValuWoseth has over 25 years of experience in strategic leadership, planning, and finance, including 15 years in the grocery industry, in which he served as Vice President, Business Development and Strategy for Albertson’s, Vice President, Research for Water Tower Capital, and Vice President, Investment Banking at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray.
