SALINAS, CA - Taylor Farms proudly announces that the company will be the Platinum Portfolio Sponsor of the annual Women’s Fresh Perspectives Conference in April 2025, organized by the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA). Taylor Farms is an ongoing sponsor of the IFPA’s Women’s programs and is committed to supporting events that empower, advance, and honor women in the fresh produce industry.

At this year's Women’s Fresh Perspectives Conference, six women across the Taylor Farms company will be attending the event to take part in leadership workshops, mentorship sessions, and networking opportunities available to attendees. Each of these women brings a unique perspective and skill set to Taylor Farms, and we’re eager to see how they’ll embrace all the opportunities the conference has to offer alongside other women in the industry.

The conference will take place at Hyatt Park in Carlsbad, California, from April 13-15, 2025. Attendees can expect a jam-packed agenda over the two-day event, including workshops, engaging discussion panels, and presentations. It’s designed to help women at all career stages hone their skills, build professional relationships, and discover new approaches to business challenges within our fields.

Members of the Taylor Farms team are familiar faces at the Women’s Fresh Perspectives Conferences, many of whom have spoken and taken part in discussion panels at previous events.

Amanda Knauff, Vice President of Sales Canada and Northeast USA, Taylor Farms

Amanda Knauff, Taylor Farms’ Vice President of Sales for Canada and the Northeast USA, is just one of those who have participated and also met her own mentor at a Women’s Fresh Perspectives Conference. Amanda recalls in a recent press release, “I met my mentor Melissa through the IFPA Women’s Fresh Perspectives Conference, and she is my only experience with formal mentorship. It’s been just over two years, but she made an impact immediately when I needed quick advice in a scenario. It has been an eye-opening experience to even seek such relationships out.”

Cathy Burns, Chief Executive Officer, International Fresh Produce Association

Commenting on the importance, growth, and support for the event, IFPA CEO Cathy Burns said, “The Women’s Fresh Perspectives Conference is one of the events I most look forward to each year. The conference, and the portfolio as a whole, has grown significantly over the past several years in large part due to the investment and support of our member companies. Whether it's individual programs or total portfolio sponsorship - or sending team members to grow and develop by participating in these programs - it's clear these leading organizations are committed to the advancement of women in our industry.”

We’re proud to support IFPA and celebrate the strength, innovation, and accomplishments of the incredible women on our team and in the industry!
