T&G's JAZZ™ Apples Campaign Drives Sales Leading up to Super Bowl
LOS ANGELES, CA - My favorite part of any Super Bowl is the part where my friends and I are gathered around a heaping plate of crispy, saucy chicken wings. Offering an intriguing new twist to this go-to Game Day snack, T&G’s innovative new JAZZ™ apple campaigns are demanding shopper attention this Super Bowl season by providing consumers with delicious new recipes to help incorporate the variety into their kitchens and simultaneously driving retail sales.

More than ever, consumers are eating and celebrating at home, so we want to help them create chef-level experiences that are simple, delicious, and healthy. Together, these activities provide retailers with a great opportunity to promote the tangy-sweet, always crunchy JAZZ apple.”
To promote the enticing variety, the JAZZ apple campaigns create an integrated experience for both retailers and their consumers. In addition to the mouthwatering apple wings recipe being shared, the experience also includes merchandising materials for show-stopping in-store displays, a kwik-lok tag on the variety’s poly bags, and a social shopper contest, according to a press release.
Once shoppers have loaded their carts with these amazing apples, they can participate in a free virtual cooking event on February 2, where Chef Gamoran will show them exactly how to craft the new Super Bowl staple.
“JAZZ apples are genius for game day wings—and if you’re not using them in a recipe, their size is perfect for snacking because nothing gets left to waste,” said Gamoran.
With many consumers getting ready to devour chicken wings during the Big Game, this campaign is a perfect chance for retailers to urge them to spice up the dish with another trip to the produce aisle.
