Trucco Launches Produce for Life 7 Campaign for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

VINELAND, NJ - An impactful campaign was recently announced by Trucco. In collaboration with Medrano Produce, the industry maven announced its Produce for Life 7 initiative in recognition of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

The campaign was launched out of support for the son of a long-time Trucco employee, who was diagnosed with leukemia in 2019 at just eight years old. Today, he is in remission, thanks to the collective efforts of doctors, researchers, and caregivers, a press release relayed.

Trucco has chosen to collaborate with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. The organization’s commitment to funding groundbreaking research is more than a mission; it’s a promise to every child and family affected by cancer. By purchasing kiwis or limes marked with a golden ribbon, consumers can join a powerful movement paving the way toward a cure.

Trucco and Medrano Produce will donate a portion of the sales to Alex’s Lemonade Foundation for every clamshell of kiwis and or limes a customer buys, marked with a golden ribbon. Trucco encourages produce industry members to support the cause in their own ways as well.

We applaud Trucco on this recent launch!
