Westmoreland-TopLine Farms' Cucumbers Recognized at Greenhouse Vegetable Competition
LEAMINGTON, ON – The best greenhouse vegetables from North America’s most prodigious growers were on display last weekend at the annual Greenhouse Vegetable Awards Competition. TopLine Farms was on hand to take home two of the ceremony’s coveted awards.
“Receiving these awards is more than just about showcasing all that we grow; it is about our commitment to growing the most flavorful varieties in today’s marketplace,” said Jimmy Coppola, Marketing Manager, in a company press release.
The company took home top honors in the following categories:
- Best Cocktail Cucumber
- Best Overall Cucumber

The company noted that it considers participating in the competition each year to be a privilege—and said that the event is both a great way to showcase TopLine’s outstanding greenhouse-grown offerings to the public and an equally-great way to give back by raising money and awareness for REACH International (Relief Education and Child Sponsorship), an organization that provides education, food, medicine, and other assistance to disadvantaged and orphaned children across the globe.
