SANTA BARBARA, CA - Exciting news is coming out of the Apeel Sciences headquarters today. The company announced that it has named Will Ison as its new Vice President, Commercial EMEA. The new leader will play a pivotal role in highlighting the company’s latest innovations.

Ison brings a wealth of experience in international commercial sales, marketing, and grower relations, honed through his recent role as the Senior Commercial Manager for G's Group in the United Kingdom and Ireland. According to a press release, his expertise in strategic sales processes and customer experience will enhance Apeel's partnerships with suppliers and retailers across EMEA.

Apeel Sciences will also be showcasing at this year's Berlin Fruit Logistica. Supported by customer-centric leaders like Ison, Apeel is excited to share the significance of RipeTrack with the EMEA produce industry. This AI-powered software system offers insight into produce ripeness through a fully digitized, user-friendly platform.

This technology is a significant leap forward in optimizing the decades-old process of testing ripeness, offering suppliers and retailers more insight into sales-driving quality attributes of their produce and resulting in more product delivered to required specifications and less product wasted.

Other enhancements include significantly reduced setup times and a smaller footprint, tailor-made to meet the unique requirements of the EMEA market. This initiative underscores Apeel’s commitment to providing solutions that are not just advanced but also pragmatic and accessible.

Apeel will be in Hall 25, Stand A-02 at the event. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the RipeTrack system and meet Ison, and Ryan Fink, Senior Vice President, Commercial, will also speak about RipeTrack at the main Tech Talk stage.
