BJ's Wholesale Club Expands With New Wave of Club Openings; Enters Indiana Market
WESTBOROUGH, MA - BJ’s Wholesale Club is continuing its strategic expansion across the eastern United States with the unveiling of not one, but four new club locations. As part of its next phase of 2022 development plans, the retailer will open locations in Midlothian, Virginia; Wayne, New Jersey; New Albany, Ohio; and Noblesville, Indiana.
“We’ve seen tremendous success in growing our footprint over the last several years, both in our core East Coast communities as well as in new markets like the greater Detroit and Pittsburgh areas,” said Bill Werner, Executive Vice President, Strategy and Development. “Our expansion into the greater Indianapolis and Columbus markets allows us to bring the value of our membership to these new communities we look forward to serving.”
BJ’s newest Noblesville, IN, club will mark the retailer’s entrance into the state, a press release explained. The New Albany location will be BJ’s seventh location in Ohio; and the Midlothian and Wayne clubs will add to the wholesaler’s presence in Virginia, where it has 13 existing clubs; and New Jersey, which is home to 23 wholesale clubs.
Each of the four new locations will feature an extensive selection of fresh foods, a full-service deli, and household essentials. Members can shop in-store, using the company’s website, or through its mobile app. Consumers also have access to buy online, pick up in-club as well as curbside pickup, same-day delivery, Same-Day Select, and ExpressPay.
