D'Arrigo New York Celebrates 75-Year Milestone; Kevin, Gabriela, and Dillon D’Arrigo Comment
NEW YORK - The fireworks are still bursting from this year’s Fourth of July festivities, but we here at AndNowUKnow have yet another celebration on our minds. D’Arrigo New York is celebrating its 75th anniversary, reflecting on a legacy that began on July 4, 1948.
“It’s a reminder that the company was built, starting from nothing, on the strong core values, vision, and tireless effort of my grandfather,” Kevin D’Arrigo, Vice President of Operations, shared in a release from the company. “My father and uncles continued those principles for four decades, growing and carefully guiding the business into the market leader it is today. I’m fortunate to be a part of it.”
In honor of this impressive milestone, D’Arrigo New York has taken a moment to look back on its continuous growth, dating back to its roots at the Washington Market, which is now TriBeCa in New York City.
The wholesaler has come a long way since that small facility in Washington Market. In 1976, the company moved to Hunts Point, New York, where it has steadily expanded and grown its portfolio of product offerings.
“The 75-year mark is an incredible feat that I know we are all very proud of,” noted Gabriela D’Arrigo, Vice President of Marketing and Communications. “This is a company built on simple family values that have been instilled in each generation through the years and is the cornerstone of who we are today. We are one of the many examples of the American Dream, achieved on the July 4th anniversary is the icing on the cake.”
Dillon D’arrigo, Salesperson, also commented on what the milestone anniversary means to him.
“Seventy-five years is extremely humbling. It represents a culture of hard work, respect, and honesty that was cultivated by my father and two uncles,” he says. “Seventy-five years wouldn’t have been attainable without the loyalty of our customers and the dedication of our employees.”
Congratulations to D’Arrigo New York on a successful 75 years! And cheers to 75 more!
