INECTA Food Unveils New Tool for Root Vegetable Processors
NEW YORK - In an effort to optimize the supply chain for root vegetables, INECTA Food has unveiled a unique new advantage for its industry allies, as the company recently announced a new feature designed to streamline the process of supplying high-quality products to customers.
“Due to the considerable volume of product root vegetable farms typically transport in a single shipment, INECTA recognized the need to be able to organize root vegetable orders en masse,” stated the company in a release. “With a comprehensive solution that includes quality control, automated produce processing/grading, and warehouse management, INECTA Food for Produce Processors is the obvious choice for all root vegetable processors.”
The new feature allows businesses to accept multiple truckloads of product from multiple farms within a short time period without losing visibility into the field, farm, or grower information, according to a press release. Produce Processors can then size and grade the product and seamlessly divide it by bin, crate, or palate before relocating it on to storage.
In addition, the new innovation also allows businesses to accurately track the cost of storing the growers’ product within the processor warehouse, allowing them to account for each individual parcel of product for billing purposes.
As root vegetables have a substantially longer shelf life, many companies may receive orders for a mass number of these products; INECTA Food’s new tool allows its customers to streamline these orders with precision and ease.
