The supplier has revealed its new field packaged Leafy Herb Trio including Italian parsley, curly parsley, and cilantro, which are available to ship immediately.

"We understand the confusion many consumers experience when it comes to purchasing herbs at the grocery store. The merchandising of these fresh leafy herbs is a challenge within the produce section. Often, herbs are bunched together with a small band, which can be difficult to read as the leafy strands can get in the way," said Dan Canales, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "We decided to individually package these products and use color to give a more immediate read. We want to decrease consumer confusion, reduce shrink with protective packaging, and support a cleaner, less cluttered display, with the goal of helping streamline the sale."

Italian parsley, curly parsley and cilantro are staples in the kitchen, yet many consumers are challenged by identifying the specific varieties at the point of purchase, according to a press release. Ippolito's new products make the purchasing process easier by being individually packaged with corresponding colors. This creates a cleaner display, reduced shrink, and a distinct product identity.

The new items are available in a 24 count carton and are grown, harvested, and packed year-round, seasonally in Salinas, California, and Yuma, Arizona.
