LOS ANGELES, CA - Dedicated to giving back to its local communities, Progressive Produce is being honored for its efforts and its ongoing partnership with Heart of Compassion Distribution, a nonprofit food bank and social service organization.

Progressive is being celebrated by California State Senator Bob Archuleta, California Assemblymember Blanca Rubio, and Montebello Mayor David Torres, a release stated.

The company’s charitable efforts come as part of its Rooted initiative, driving forward its sustainability and social responsibility goals. To help Heart of Compassion, Progressive organized several events, including packing PB&J lunches, donating school supplies, Thanksgiving dinner drives, and monthly food donations.
