Proseal America's Kathy Lawrence Discusses What to Expect at SEPC's Southern Innovations
RANCHO CORDOVA, CA - As we prepare for the upcoming Southern Innovations, hosted by Southeast Produce Council (SEPC), companies from across the country are preparing to head to Savannah, Georgia. Proseal America is among them, as the tray sealing solutions provider readies to show the industry the might of its sustainability benefits.
“Proseal will be showcasing a pallet of stacked boxes full of plastic tray lids that would be required for production. Next to the boxes we will show a roll of plastic lidding film that would be required instead with a Proseal tray sealing machine. This shows the space savings along with the huge decrease in plastic that would be used,” comments Kathy Lawrence, New Business Development Associate.
As Kathy asserts, sustainable solutions are the way forward—and Proseal is here to help the industry get ahead.
“Regulations across the United States and even the rest of the world are starting to mandate changes in practices to ensure people are being as sustainable and as eco-friendly as possible with their packaging,” she explains. “With our tray sealing machines, we are able to accommodate packaging changes without the need for a brand-new machine. As part of Proseal’s efforts to ‘future-proof’ its machine design, the modern GT tray sealing range can be retrofitted with the newest and best technological innovations as and when they become available, helping to protect customer investment long into the future.”
With over 20 years’ experience in the packaging industry, Proseal is adept at introducing and proliferating new and innovative packaging formats and completing multiple marketplace transformations by sharing its expertise on effective packaging techniques for a variety of products.
“Key to Proseal’s ongoing success is the consistent delivery of leading-edge quality in both manufacturing and overall machine design,” Kathy notes. “This is backed by our unrivaled level of aftermarket support: 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.”
As for the trade show itself, Kathy lets me know the value she finds in events like Southern Innovations.
“I want to take this opportunity to say how excited we are to be participating in the SEPC in person event. We have really missed in person trade shows and getting to connect with people rather than the virtual shows. We have hired several new members to our sales team over the last year, and we are excited to show them the ropes at trade shows and demonstrate how successful they can be at teaching existing and potentially new customers about what Proseal has to offer,” she concludes.
Be on the lookout for Proseal America on the show floor, and as always, keep an eye on AndNowUKnow for the latest on trade news.
