LEAMINGTON, ONTARIO, CANADA - Pure Flavor® is on a one-way train headed for growth and it is being fueled in part by the grower’s recent acquisition of DeTemporada Farms. With the Merlin, Ontario-based 25-acre greenhouse bell pepper farm as part of its portfolio, Pure Flavor is looking forward to a year of continued expansion.

The company’s strategic investments are focused on solidifying its future as an industry leader, a release explained, and this acquisition will enable Pure Flavor to offer an even greater supply of fresh vegetables to its customers.

Built in 2021, DeTemporada Farms is known for having a unique microclimate that positively impacts the growing environment. It was constructed using state-of-the-art greenhouse technology that will be used to grow red, yellow, and orange sweet bell peppers. Expansion is already underway for the farm's next phase, which will be completed later this year.

This new acquisition comes following the construction of Pure Flavor’s new Phase IV 40-acre organic greenhouse in Leamington, Ontario, which is nearing completion this month. Through its owned farms and family of growers, the grower now manages nearly 1,000 acres of greenhouse grown fruits and vegetables.
