RIO RICO, AZ - We at ANUK have been talking a lot about industry events as of late, and another one is coming up on our radar in November. The World Food Championships (WFC) will be hosting many different competitors, and SunFed will be bringing along its Perfect Squash® and Perfect Eggplant® for the more than 1,000 participants to utilize.

“This is an awesome opportunity for us to see how the competitors can create unique dishes with our commodities. We are very excited to partner with an organization like WFC!” Luis Gonzalez, Sales and Marketing at SunFed, commented in a recent press release.

This year marks the World Food Championships’ 10^th anniversary. It will be taking place November 9–13 at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. The prize purse for the event is reportedly equivalent to $300,000.

Competitors will get the chance to compete for SunFed Bonus Bucks opportunities by implementing either of its three varieties of summer squash—zucchini squash, yellow squash, and grey squash—or eggplant, into their plates.
