ISSAQUAH, WA - Three fresh faces have joined Vanguard Direct, and with the cusp of the important season underway, it couldn’t be a better time! Vanguard Direct recently announced the hiring of new positions in key sales and operations roles at its California and Pennsylvania offices.

The company will be welcoming Sergio Sarabia, Ethan Williams, and Jordan Root to the Vanguard team. Each new member will be bringing a variety of skills and experience in the produce industry.

Sarabia will be joining the operations side of the company. An Agronomy Engineer with over 10 years of experience in international fresh fruit importing and Quality Assurance, Sarabia has joined Vanguard Direct as the company’s Operations and Logistics Manager in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

According to the press release, Sarabia brings over a decade of experience with well-known leaders in the produce industry including Verfut Chile, Dole Food Company, and Inglobo.

Williams will be joining the Bakersfield, California, office as the new Senior Sales Associate. With experience in both traditional produce roles combined with Vineyard Account Management positions, Williams brings over 11 years of sales experience to the Vanguard Direct team.

Next up to join the sales team is Root. Root will be taking his place in the California office, joining Williams in the role of Sales Associate. From here, he will continue to grow his experience in produce sales.
