KEASBEY, NJ - Wakefern Food Corp. is leveling up its financial services division with the welcoming of a new leader. The retail cooperative recently announced that Parul Aggarwal, CPA, has taken over the role of Vice President, Controller for Wakefern Financial Services.

In this central role, Aggarwal will oversee Wakefern Financial Services’ accounting operations, payroll, tax, and compliance, in addition to heading external financial reporting. This includes quarterly consolidations and financial statements, annual audited financial statements, and compliance. She will report to Wakefern’s Chief Financial Officer Neil Falcone.

Before being welcomed to the Wakefern team, Aggarwal held the title of Senior Finance Manager of Mondelēz International. In this position, she led numerous financial functions in support of the United States business. She also gained experience from working as Lead Marketing of Finance at Reckitt Benckiser, overseeing financial reporting at General Mills Canada, and presiding as Corporate Controller and Financial Planning and Analysis lead at Kellogg’s Canada.

Aggarwal holds a Master's in MBA in Finance from the Centre for Management Development in India and received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University. She also received her CPA from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in Toronto.
