ALDI USA Appoints Karla Waddleton to Chief Operating Officer Role
BATAVIA, IL - ALDI USA recently announced the appointment of a new Chief Operating Officer. Karla Waddleton steps into the role after spending more than 20 years with the retailer.
In a LinkedIn post, Waddleton expressed her excitement for the new role.

“As I look back on my journey with ALDI, beginning as a District Manager in St. Louis over 20 years ago, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to grow alongside an extraordinary team committed to our mission," she said. "One of the things I love most about working here is the amazing people I get to work with—from those I have had the privilege to hire, to my colleagues, and especially those I visit in our stores and warehouses. It’s inspiring to see the uniqueness of our employees and hear their stories.”
She went on to note the ways in which ALDI has enhanced the customer experience, and where she hopes to see the retailer in the next few years.

“We are a competitive group, but our passion for the work we do and the outstanding service we provide to our community drives us every day,” she said. “As we move forward, I am eager to harness this collective momentum, focus on driving innovation, and deliver exceptional value to our customers.”
This news comes on the heels of Atty McGath’s recent promotion to Chief Executive Officer and Jason Hart’s promotion to join the executive board of ALDI South as its Group Chief Operating Officer.
