LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - Recognition comes in many forms, and sometimes being added to an esteemed leadership team is the best form of flattery. Executive Vice President and CIO of Allen Lund Company (ALC) Chetan Tandon recently received a new honor as the University of Washington Advisory Board of the Master of Supply Chain Transportation and Logistics announced his election as a new member.

“I’m honored to join the University of Washington's Advisory Board, and I look forward to the opportunity to help guide the college's important work," said Tandon. “The Allen Lund Company is known for being involved with logistical committees such as this and we find it valuable to be able to contribute. On behalf of the company, anyway I can lend insight and my expertise is rewarding and purposeful.”

Chetan took on his role as Executive Vice President in 2019, and has held his role as CIO since March of 2013.

The Advisory Board of the Master of Supply Chain Transportation and Logistics program brings a collective wealth of experience in the field, including representatives from some of the largest, most innovative and influential organizations in the business world. According to a press release, board members help review content, guide course design, and provide updates to ensure the program remains current as the field evolves.

Chetan manages ALC’s Information Technology (IT) departments and also leads its Transportation Management System (TMS) product research, development, and implementation for Allen Lund and ALC Logistics.

The innovative leader’s career with ALC started in 2003 when he joined the company as Oracle Administrator with over four years of experience in the IT Industry, including Oracle database administration, project management, and application development. He was promoted to Manager of IT in 2005 and has served as a member of the company’s board of directors since 2018.
