Crunch Time Apple Growers Featured on the Lifetime® Network’s Morning Program, The Balancing Act
WOLCOTT, NY - Crunch Time Apple Growers (CTAG) announced that its newest apple varieties to come out of New York State, SnapDragon® and RubyFrost®, were featured on the Lifetime® Network’s morning program, The Balancing Act, on May 15, 2018.
“We jumped at the opportunity to share not only the history of Crunch Time and the two amazing apples we grow, but also the story of our farmers,” said Rena Montedoro, Director of Marketing, in a press release. “They are innovative, forward thinking, and committed to sustaining the land that their grandparents and great grandparents have farmed for decades.”
The Balancing Act, a daily morning show focused on the needs of modern women, featured several Crunch Time Apple Growers (CTAG) as they shared the SnapDragon and RubyFrost story, as well as insights on the company’s farming practices, and the collective story of Crunch Time as the largest group of growers in the State of New York.
“Crunch Time Apple Growers is a unique co-op of 145 growers across the state,” Joel Crist, Board Vice-Chairman, commented. “CTAG produces over 60 percent of the apples in the New York. The vast majority of our farms are family owned, some going back six and seven generations.”
Montedoro concluded, “I am really excited [to] be featured on The Balancing Act—it’s our target demographic and a great value fit for our brand.”
