SpartanNash Names Arpen Shah as Vice President, Merchandising Strategy and Analytics; Bennett Morgan Comments



GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The retail sector is in a state of leadership transformation, as yet another executive hire has taken place. SpartanNash recently announced that Arpen Shah has been named as Vice President, Merchandising Strategy and Analytics, a role in which he will oversee merchandising strategy and analytics for all merchandising business.

Arpen Shah, Vice President, Merchandising Strategy and Analytics, SpartanNashShah comes to SpartanNash from Essendant, where he served as Senior Director, Merchandising Enablement, according to a release. Prior to Essendant, he held roles at US Foods, United Stationers, and Canon.

In addition to merchandising business, Shah will also lead promotional planning, shelf technology, category management, and merchandising data analytics.

He earned his undergraduate degree in technical management from DeVry University and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Roosevelt University.
