HOUSTON, TX - Fresh produce access was just boosted as the 31^st annual Halliburton Charity Golf Tournament (HCGT) teed off for a good cause in the Lone Star State. National nonprofit Brighter Bites scored a generous $50,600 donation from the event, held earlier this month at the Clubs of Kingwood in Houston, Texas. The tournament brought together golfers, sponsors, and philanthropic leaders to support various charitable organizations across the U.S.

Building on this sentiment, the HCGT, which serves as the central fundraising event of the Halliburton Charitable Foundation, carefully selects beneficiaries based on plans to make substantial impacts through major capital expenditures or special community programs.
