Vandenberg certainly is cheering, as it recently announced the milestone launch of its Sunrays California grape program. Additionally, the supplier has named Caitlin Gerstenberger as its new Director of National Business Development.

Gerstenberger brings extensive experience on both the supply-side and buy-side of the fresh produce industry, having spent time in the retail sector as well. This expertise positions her as a key asset in driving the continued growth of both Jac. Vandenberg and the Sunrays brand.

The Sunrays grapes program is known for its commitment to excellence, featuring proprietary varieties that boast high brix levels and consistent quality. According to a press release, these specifications are rigorously upheld by quality control personnel stationed at both the origin and destination points, ensuring that consumers receive only the best grapes that meet the Sunrays standard.
