Naturipe Partners with California Avocado Commission to Celebrate Albert Einstein's Birthday
SALINAS, CA - In celebration of Albert Einstein’s upcoming birthday on March 14th, Naturipe Farms and the California Avocado Commission have launched a “Brain Power Smoothies” Sweepstakes on Pinterest.
The focus of this smoothie promotion is how berries and avocados provide essential vitamins and nutrients: the perfect way to boost brain function, and prevent memory loss, according to Naturipe.
“March is a great time to celebrate berries! Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries are all entering into their “peak” seasons – and California Avocados have just arrived into the market,” said Kyla Oberman, Director of Marketing for Naturipe. “Knowing that berries and avocados not only pair well, they especially make for a tasty, good-for-you snack or meal as a smoothie. This promotion is a great way to encourage consumption of these healthy ingredients as well as give consumers inspiration to try new ingredient combinations in their smoothies.”
The companies are asking consumers to help them with the search for the best brain-power smoothie by creating their own Pinterest boards and “Pin” their favorite berry and California avocados smoothie recipes. Entrants will be judged based on the creativity of their Pinterest board and will have a chance to win a grand-prize pack comprised of: a NutriBullet Blender, $100 Grocery, and a box of Naturipe Berries and California Avocados.
