IDAHO FALLS, ID - February has commenced, and you know what that means; the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure event is less than a month away! Among the produce suppliers preparing to descend on Orlando, Florida, from March 2–4 is Wada Farms, which will be showcasing its entire portfolio of offerings.

Eric Beck, Director of Marketing, Wada Farms“Aside from our core of potatoes, onions, and sweet potatoes, we will also be featuring our expanded lineup of watermelons, pumpkins, and a new value-added product, Bare Beans, ready-to-eat beans,” explains Eric Beck, Director of Marketing.

In addition to its premium quality products, Wada Farms is looking to show buyers and retailers at Southern Exposure its dedication to going beyond produce. The supplier has a customer-first mentality and is prepared to execute across the entire spectrum of supply chain needs. As Eric tells me, Wada Farms prides itself on being a vertically integrated company because it enables the team to dial in on the needs of its customers.

On top of highlighting its capabilities and items, Wada Farms looks forward to having meaningful conversations at the show with current and prospective customers.

“The more granular we can get with a customer, the better positioned we are to help them succeed,” continues Eric. “At the end of the day, a partner’s success is our success. The SEPC venue provides the opportunity to network as an industry, harbor new and existing relations, and be a catalyst for new ideas to explore.”

Among the ideas that Wada Farms may discuss is its commitment to sustainable practices, which will be one of its key focuses moving forward.

The grower prides itself on being a vertically integrated company and looks forward to sharing with attendees its ability to go above and beyond for its customers

“We are taking a deep dive into our sustainability initiatives to identify where we can improve, maintain, and adopt for a sustainable future in agriculture,” Eric shares. “Wada Farms is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, and we recognize that sustainability is necessary to ensure we are here for another 80 years.”
