Warren Packaging Launches New Custom Sustainable Packaging Line
ONTARIO, CA - There is nothing like a year of spiked deliveries to bring to the surface an acute awareness of packaging, so it stands to reason that consumers are more aware than ever of sustainable options in their product choices. Perfectly timed with this is the launch of Warren Packaging’s custom sustainable packaging line.
Spanning capabilities and categories, Warren Packaging’s wide range of sustainable offerings are fully customizable with full graphics, while remaining 100-percent recyclable, biodegradable, and plastic-free.
“Sustainability and the environment are an overwhelming focus right now for both retailers as well as growers, packers, and consumers,” Mike Dittenber, Business Development, shares. “Aside from sustainability, the customization of this packaging is a huge benefit. On typical plastic clamshells, branding and marketing abilities are limited, usually requiring additional materials to the clamshell in order to show the brand and tell consumers the story. These offer all of that done right on the clamshell itself, which has many benefits from improved branding to reduced labor.”
Already in stores for grape tomatoes, mini onions, and tomatoes-on-the-vine in both the U.S. and Canada, with grape and kiwi clamshells soon to enter select retailers as well, there are few these options won’t support.
“We are constantly adding new options to the line, and we are always open to the challenge to create something new for a customer looking at sustainable options like this,” Mike adds, explaining that the versatility is just one of several aspects of these clamshells drawing interest from both grower/packers and retailers, as well as consumers. “In addition to the customization options and instant sustainability access, we have developed master cases for each of the clamshells we have designed so far, and we offer full digital printing with graphics to match the clamshells to create even greater branding and marketing opportunities.”
With the ability to modify sizing for different produce varieties and offer different styles based on the specific needs of its customers, along with graphics that don’t force a choice between image and sustainability, there is nothing but room for the expansion of Warren Packaging’s newest line.
