Ahold Delhaize Banner Food Lion Expands Grocery To Go Pick-Up Service to 14 More Stores; Evan Harding Comments
SALISBURY, NC - Success looks different for everyone, and for Ahold Delhaize-owned Food Lion, it looks like expansion. With convenience maintaining its reign over the grocery and foodservice sectors, pick-up services are essential to growth. As such, Food Lion is once again expanding its To Go pick-up offering to an additional 14 locations across North Carolina and Virginia.
“Continuing to expand this service to more Food Lion stores is important to us and our customers,” said Evan Harding, Director of Digital and E-Commerce. “We want to give our neighbors the option to shop through the channel they prefer, in-store or online, while still ensuring they have access to fresh groceries at affordable prices.”
This offering will be available through the Food Lion To Go website or the Food Lion To Go app, allowing shoppers to place an order and pick up their fresh groceries on the same day. This expansion comes just weeks after Food Lion rolled out the service to another 32 stores, highlighting its commitment to make grocery shopping easy, fresh, and affordable.
The Food Lion To Go service also supports the retailer’s rewards programs and in-store promotions, a press release stated.
I have a feeling that this service will only continue to expand, so keep reading ANUK to follow along with us.
