Allen Lund Company Earns Several Recognitions; Eddie and Kenny Lund Comment
LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - Allen Lund Company (ALC) is raking in the recognitions. Not only has the transportation broker been named a 2023 “Top Food Chain Provider” by Food Chain Digest, but it has also been recognized by Armstrong & Associates with multiple award designations in 2023.
ALC has earned the honor for the second year in a row. As noted in the release, the Top Food Chain Provider program highlights third-party logistics companies (3PLs), freight brokers, motor carriers, and rail/intermodal and maritime companies (ocean carriers and port authorities) that excel in capabilities and service to food transportation, logistics, distribution, and supply chain management.
“Once again, we are honored to be recognized by FSA as a Top Food Chain Provider. Delivering food across the U.S. is what we have done since we started in 1976. It will always be a main focus for our business,” said Eddie Lund, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Allen Lund Company.
Sidling up in the trophy case are award designations from Armstrong & Associates.
ALC noted in a separate release it was named a Top 50 U.S. 3PL and listed as 18th on the Top 100 Domestic Transportation Management 3PL List. Winners for each award were chosen based on 2022 gross logistics revenue and gross DTM revenue, respectively.
