Fresh Produce Association of the Americas Prepares for 2023 Annual Spring Policy Summit; Lance Jungmeyer Comments
NOGALES, AZ - At the rate 2022 flew by, March, 2023, will be here in no time, giving the industry an exciting annual event to look forward to. I’m, of course, talking about the Fresh Produce Association of the Americas’ (FPAA) 2023 Spring Policy Summit, which will take place at Tubac Golf Resort and Spa in Tubac, Arizona, March 14–15.
“This kind of event brings together stakeholders with regulators in a setting that invites collaboration and constructive input,” said Lance Jungmeyer, President of FPAA. “Our mission is to educate and monitor changes that could impact our industry, and to create partnerships that help guide the produce industry towards achieving lasting, long-term positive changes.”
The event focuses on policies and regulations that impact importation of fresh produce from Mexico, a release explained. It has a history of creating valuable discourse between industry and government agencies in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
At the annual summit, regulators from all areas of the U.S., Mexican, and Canadian governments will have open dialogue, share updates on a variety of industry topics, take part in a food safety meeting, and more.
FPAA’s Spring Policy Summit 2023 is open to all members of the fresh produce industry. You can register here.
