Gold Coast Packing's Crystal Chavez Details Global Produce & Floral Show Exhibition
SANTA MARIA, CA - Gold Coast Packing is bringing the California energy to Orlando, Florida, later this month for the International Fresh Produce Association’s (IFPA) Global Produce & Floral Show 2022. The supplier will come ready with a full suite of fresh vegetables, and Crystal Chavez, Marketing Coordinator, told me all about it.
“Our goal at the show is to connect with our customers and learn how we can continue to build our partnership and how we can work with them to create products that alleviate their challenges,” Crystal began. “We also want to share all about Gold Coast Packing with potential customers. The show allows for the perfect opportunity to meet new customers and show off all of our items and abilities.”
At the event, Gold Coast will be showcasing its new 2 lb and 12 oz retail items. The newest items in its retail line are Broccoli Florets, Cauliflower Florets, a blend of Broccoli & Cauliflower Florets, Garden Blend (broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots), Brussels Sprouts, and Broccoli Slaw. Those that visit booth #2481 will also get to see all of Gold Coast’s other retail items including spinach, cilantro, and its riced Caulifornia™ line.
“This is the first show we will be attending for the combined organization of IFPA, so I am looking forward to what IFPA offers. It has also been two years since the industry gathered for this global event, so being able to see our friends and customers is always a highlight,” Crystal told me. “And I have to say, I am a big fan of Chef José Andrés. I have followed him on social media for several years and am a fan of his restaurant China Poblano in Las Vegas, Nevada, and am always inspired by how he responds to disasters around the world with World Central Kitchen. I cannot wait to hear him during Friday’s General Session and hear how he is changing the world through the power of food!”
Crystal went on to explain that all industry members should attend this event, as it allows for face-to-face time with customers and potential customers. It gives attendees an in-depth look at all aspects of the industry, from veggies and fruit to technology and transportation and everything in between. She noted that the show is often a first look at new items that various companies are showcasing and sampling and checking out all the innovations is always an exciting part of the show.
“We hope everyone that comes to our booth learns all about our new value-added retail items. Our goal is for attendees to take away that Gold Coast is a California grower/shipper/processor that works with its customers and partners to customize innovative products that meet their needs,” Crystal concluded. “We can't wait to see everyone at booth #2481.
