Kroger Names Fred Morganthall Senior Vice President, Rod Antolock President of Harris Teeter Supermarkets
CINCINNATI, OH - Kroger has announced that current Harris Teeter President, Fred Morganthall, has been named Senior Vice President of Retail Divisions for The Kroger Co. To fill Moganthall’s prior position, Rod Antolock, the current Harris Teeter Executive Vice President, has now been named President of Harris Teeter.

"We continue to learn a lot from Fred about building even stronger connections with our customers. We are delighted that he is taking on this broader role at Kroger.”
Since 1997, Morganthall has been President of Harris Teeter Supermarkets, bringing a total of more than 37 years of grocery industry experience to his new presidential role. Morganthall began his career in grocery retail in 1978 at Spartan Stores in Grand Rapids, MI, then joining Harris Teeter in 1986 as Director of Grocery Merchandising. From there, he went on to serve in several key leadership roles for the company, including Vice President of Merchandising, Vice President of Distribution, and Vice President of Operations, before taking his latest role as President.
Rod Antolock will succeed Morganthall as the new President of Harris Teeter.

Rod Antolock began his retail career in 1978 with Albertsons, according to a press release. There, he held a number of leadership roles before joining Harris Teeter in 2000, where again Antolock served in several executive positions. These included everything from Senior Vice President of Operations, and Senior Vice President of Operations and Merchandising. He has been serving in his most recent role as Vice President at Harris Teeter since 2012, where he is responsible for merchandising, operations, marketing, human resources, loss prevention, store development, quality assurance and distribution, as well as manufacturing.
