CINCINNATI, OH - One of the latest growth plays from Kroger is a strategic move to bolster its nationwide workforce. The grocer recently unveiled plans to hire associates for salaried and hourly roles across all of its geographies.

According to a recent press release, Kroger is searching for talent in retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, supply chain, merchandising, logistics, corporate, pharmacy, healthcare, and more. The retailer plans to accelerate its work to create a place where all associates can thrive following the close of its proposed merger with Albertsons Companies, as the combined company will create one of the largest unionized workforces in the country.

Through its proposed merger, the combined retail force will offer even more opportunities for associates to grow their careers, with plans to continue raising wages and improving comprehensive benefits, including $1 billion already committed post-close.
