Raley's Elevates Consumer Experience Through Partnership With Starbucks; Krissy Garris Details
WEST SACRAMENTO, CA - If you’re anything like me, then you know a hand-crafted coffee beverage is sure to elevate any trip to the grocery store. Through a newfound partnership with Starbucks, Raley’s has converted two in-store cafés into Starbucks locations as it looks to establish a space where shoppers can not only shop for high-quality products but also enjoy a moment of relaxation and socialization.
“Raley’s is excited about our collaboration with Starbucks,” said Krissy Garris, Director of Food Service at Raley’s. “Starbucks brings a wealth of expertise and resources that complement our core strengths of in-store beverage and dining offerings. The Starbucks name is synonymous with quality and consistency and together, we can address market challenges more comprehensively and provide even greater value to our customers.”
The two stores welcoming new Starbucks locations are located in Sacramento, California, and Incline Village, Nevada. Over the last five years, Raley’s has invested in spaces where its community can gather, including community rooms, cafes, and beer/wine bars, a press release explained.
Across the chain’s footprint in California and Nevada, Raley’s offers multiple coffee offerings, including Peet’s, local Sacramento company Chocolate Fish, and specialty coffee Drink Coffee, Do Stuff.
In addition to the in-store cafes, the grocer has also introduced seven beer and wine bars that showcase local wines and beers by the glass. Complementing these innovative spaces, Raley’s has also set its focus on creating quality in-store gathering spots that cater to the diverse preferences of its customers.
