DALLAS, TX – Avocados from Mexico (AFM) has announced a partnership that is sure to amp up all of your Cinco de Mayo parties this year. The company is partnering with both Dos Equis and Sauza tequila for its upcoming promotion, Ultimate Mexican Fiesta. 

“Cinco de Mayo is such a well celebrated time of year,” said Alvaro Luque, President of Avocados from Mexico. “We want avocado fans to continue their fiestas with the always in season and always versatile Avocados from Mexico. Our recipes pair perfectly with Dos Equis and Sauza tequila, creating the ultimate celebration with friends and family."

Designed to encourage consumers to keep the fiesta going through Cinco de Mayo, this consumer contest will run from April 1 to May 15, 2015. Consumers will enter to win one of ten $500 gift cards to the grocery retailer of their choice.

AFM has also designed a number of branded in-store display bins, headers and unique signage to support the promotion. According to a press release, an AFM ripening bag display will provide three easy steps to help consumers understand how and when to enjoy a perfectly ripe avocado. Signage featuring Dos Equis and Sauza tequila will highlight the natural partnership between the three companies. Consumer savings are expected to include a joint MIR offer with Dos Equis and an AFM exclusive coupon that will be featured in Sauza’s coupon booklet.

And good news for retailers: there will also be an Ultimate Mexican Fiesta display contest. Every valid entry will win a cash prize.
