Tops Friendly Markets Names Aaron Payne as Vice President, Marketing and Promotional Strategy
WILLIAMSVILLE, NY - One retail vet is certainly jumping for joy as their recent promotion is finalized. Tops Friendly Markets has named Aaron Payne as Vice President, Marketing and Promotional Strategy as part of Shared Services Center (SSC).
Payne will be leading a team responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategy and promotional plans to achieve desired business goals for Price Chopper, Market 32, and Tops Markets, a press release explained. He will drive initiatives aimed at strengthening the retailer’s overall market position in collaboration with leadership in marketing, merchandising, IT, and the individual operating companies.
The new VP has been with Tops for 19 years, most recently serving in the capacity of Director of Advertising. The Shared Services Center, which Payne will be representing, supports both Tops Friendly Markets and Price Chopper/Market 32, which merged this past fall.
Payne will play a pivotal role in driving marketing and promotional strategies as the retailer looks to bolster its operations store-wide.
