Local Bounti’s Aaron Sumption Details New Premium Offerings Ahead of SEPC Southern Innovations
HAMILTON, MT - We are less than a month away from Southeast Produce Council’s (SEPC) Southern Innovations on Saturday, September 24, and our industry is already excited to gather ’round in Nashville, Tennessee. One industry innovator making the trip to the Music City is Local Bounti, eager to show off its latest line’s launch.
“This year at Southern Innovations, the Local Bounti team is excited to showcase the launch of our new premium salad kits,” says Aaron Sumption, Senior Vice President of Sales. “We will have two premium varieties to showcase, Modern Greek and Poppy Power.”
The new line features a restaurant-quality experience as Local Bounti’s team of world-class chefs crafted an elevated salad experience. Modern Greek features 230 calories while Poppy Power features 240, both a healthy and convenient package containing greenhouse-grown greens with long-lasting freshness.
In addition to the new kits, Local Bounti will be showcasing its core items, such as its conventional and organic butter lettuce, conventional and organic watercress, and its line of baby leaf lettuces. A bountiful table laden with fresh greens will meet attendees’ eyes, which is backed by quality and consistency.
“Our goal is to let customers know that our Georgia facility is now up and running. This will allow us to bring healthy, delicious, quality, Georgia-grown greens to the Southeast. We have plans to be more involved in the SEPC and Southeast community in general,” continues Aaron. “The next facility in our sights to open will be located in Washington state, with Texas close behind. Clearly, we have some exciting things coming!”
Exciting times are ahead! Head over to booth #108 to find out more about these new kits, and keep an eye out for ANUK as we bring you the latest.
