PHILADELPHIA, PA - In a move to build on its global industry expertise, AgroFresh Solutions has announced a slew of new appointments to its Board of Directors. The company recently announced a go-private transaction with investment funds associated with Paine Schwartz Partners, and its new board includes a diverse mix of industry leaders with a wide range of experience across the fresh produce supply chain.

Our new Board of Directors features a diverse mix of industry executives from across the globe with decades of combined experience in food and agriculture,” said Clint Lewis, Chief Executive Officer.

According to a release, among the newly appointed Board members are:

• Brian Kocher– Former CEO of Calavo, who will serve as Board Chair, who has had more than 30 years of experience in the food industry
• David McInerney– Founder/Former CEO of Fresh Direct, who brings three decades of experience unlocking value creation and profitable growth for consumer and retail businesses
• Tina Lawton– Former APAC President at Syngenta, who offers more than 30 years of experience in the food and agriculture industry
• Sandor Nagy– Chief Operating Officer and Head of Supply Chain at Driscoll’s, who, over the last 30 years, has driven value across a diverse range of industries and geographies as an operations and supply chain leader
