SALISBURY, NC - With 2022 seeming to fly by, it is almost the holiday season, and in preparation for the boom in retail demand, Ahold Delhaize’s Food Lion banner is expanding the reach of its Food Lion To Go service. Now, more shoppers throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, and Tennessee will have access to grocery pick-up as the retailer will offer the service at 15 more stores.

“We continue to offer Food Lion To Go at additional stores to help our customers spend more time on what matters most to them,” said Evan Harding, Director of Digital and E-Commerce, Food Lion. “We want to give neighbors the option to shop however they prefer, in-store or online, while still ensuring they have access to fresh groceries at affordable prices.”

This launch comes just in time to meet fall and holiday shopping demand, allowing consumers to confirm availability and place orders for their meal supplies through the Food Lion To Go website or app, a release explained. After placing their orders, shoppers can pick up their groceries the same day at the same price without having to leave their car.

Food Lion will continue to expand this service across its footprint in its ongoing commitment to making the shopping experience easier and more convenient for consumers.
