TEMPLE, TX- A load of avocados nearly met their fate as road guacamole on I-35 in Texas today. According to source KWTX, an 18-wheeler carrying the produce flipped over just after 2 A.M. on Thursday.

Thankfully, neither the avocados or the driver suffered any injuries. The load of produce managed to stay contained and there was no spill or mess on the road.

The turnover temporarily blocked lanes on the busy thoroughfare, and though they reopened, a frontage road remained closed for a majority of the morning.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused the truck to crash.
