One fresh produce veteran has joined the leadership team at FiveStar Gourmet Foods, as the supplier recently added to its Board of Directors. Chris Dugan joined the team on January 31, 2024.

With over two decades of experience in the fresh produce industry, Dugan joins FiveStar's Board of Directors following a distinguished career at Chiquita Brands International. Beginning in various sales and operations roles, Dugan quickly rose to Senior Vice President of Sales for both Chiquita and Fresh Express in the United States and Canada.

According to a press release, Dugan currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer at Richelieu Foods, bringing a wealth of knowledge in sales, marketing, and strategic leadership. With his deep understanding of the fresh produce industry and proven track record of driving growth, Dugan is poised to play a pivotal role in guiding FiveStar's strategic evolution.
