Giumarra Companies' Gary Caloroso Discusses Southern Exposure Showcase
LOS ANGELES, CA - Who’s ready for SEPC? The Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure is taking place this week, and our industry is ready to hit the show floor. As we prepare for the kickoff, I had a chance to chat with Gary Caloroso, Regional Business Development Director of Giumarra Companies.

“SEPC’s Southern Exposure offers a fantastic opportunity to highlight our upcoming availability of key products, including domestic berries, California and imported avocados, California and imported grapes, domestic and imported Lemonade apples, California stonefruit, and imported melons,” Gary began telling me.
The Giumarra Companies team is excited to connect with customers and growers, making the most of this special opportunity to plan for the spring and summer seasons. Promotional opportunities for many seasonal items will abound, including locally grown berries. Giumarra offers berries grown in 10 states, as well as British Columbia. The company also recently announced new unique PLU codes for its exclusive DulceVida® premium nectarine program.

“We look forward to engaging in meaningful conversations at our booth and throughout Southern Exposure,” Gary said. “Our goal is to clearly communicate the key programs we offer to both our customers and growers. We provide customized support, including merchandising, logistics, transportation, consolidation, and other important services to meet the needs of our program business customers.”
Convincing enough? I know the ANUK team will certainly pay a visit to the Giumarra Companies booth #834. We hope to see you there!
