Lidl Plans New Store in the Bronx, New York
THE BRONX, NY - Drumroll, please! Following much anticipation by New Yorkers, Lidl has announced that it will be opening a new location in the state. The retailer will reportedly be coming to the Bronx Terminal Market in the coming months.
A recent article by Welcome2TheBronx™ stated that residents of New York have been eager to shop at the discount chain, but many of them were previously unable to due to its first New York store opening on Staten Island in 2018. Stores in Astoria and Harlem have since opened up as well, but the new Bronx location will make shopping even more accessible.
Similar to other popular Lidl locations, this new store will feature a simple layout that enhances efficiency and makes the checkout process even easier for shoppers. Plus, Lidl customers in the Bronx will have access to a bounty of fresh produce at an affordable price.
While an opening date has not been announced for the new store, we anticipate it will be opening its doors in the coming months. Keep an eye out for more news!
