YAKIMA, WA – Grower/shipper Domex Superfresh has brought back a familiar face this week; industry veteran Paul Newstead has rejoined the company, with which he worked for a decade, in the role of Director of Business Development.

Newstead brings more than 25 years of experience in the produce industry to his new position—including a ten-year tenure with Superfresh Growers from 2002 to 2012.

“We are thrilled to have Paul back,” said Robert Kershaw, CEO. “Paul has extensive knowledge of retail and markets, and has already hit the ground running. For years to come, he will help Superfresh Growers and our customer partners grow their apple, pear, cherry, and apricot categories."

In this role, Newstead will be responsible for generating new customers and building existing relationships throughout North America. To this end, Newstead will leverage Superfresh Growers’ expansive line of Northwest treefruit as well as its logistical and service capabilities.

Before re-joining Superfresh Growers, Paul worked in a variety of management and executive roles, including sales and marketing. Most recently he worked for Nathel International as VP of Sales and Marketing for imported table grapes, stonefruit, apple, pears, and citrus.
