RETRACTION USDA Files Action Under PACA Against Supreme Cuts LLC in New Jersey

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The USDA has cited the operations of Supreme Cuts LLC of Mahwah, a New Jersey-based organization, for PACA violations, according to a USDA news release.
Supreme Cuts LLC violated PACA with its failure to pay 17 produce sellers $385,683 for 75 lots, purchased from April 2011 through January 2014. Supreme Cuts LLC contested the allegations.
To settle the complaint, USDA and Supreme Cuts LLC have entered into a consent decision in which Supreme Cuts LLC agrees to the finding of willful, repeated, and flagrant violations of PACA and the publication of the facts and circumstances. Prior to the consent order, 12 out of the 17 produce sellers were paid in full by Supreme Cuts LLC. The remaining 5 have already been paid in full. Supreme Cuts LLC's operations have not been suspended, nor have its Principals' employment been restricted under any matter.
