ARVIN, CA - Bringing both convenience and style to the potato category, RPE’s Tasteful Selections® brand has unveiled its newest packaging development with the rollout of its 3 lb mesh pillow pack. The sleek new packaging will soon showcase the potato brand’s premium Honey Gold, Ruby Sensation, and Sunburst Blend varieties.

The mesh pillow pack was designed with optimal merchandising capabilities in mind while also ensuring an elevated retail presentation that gives shoppers a clear view of the high-quality potatoes inside. As the company explained in a press release, 3 lb offerings currently hold the No. 2 item format in the baby potato category, securing a 14 percent share of pounds.
With a remarkable four percent growth in pounds year-to-date and a stellar three-year CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of nine percent, this packaging innovation is set to make waves in the market, the company shared.
The new 3 lb mesh pillow packs will be available exclusively through RPE at the beginning of March.
